FALL CHEESE TASTING: Taste lots of samples of our latest cheeses after normal business hours.  open to all

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH AT 7 pm 

CIDER AND CHEESE PAIRING: Join us and Timothy Buzinski, bonafide cider expert and owner of Artisan Wines in Beacon as we pair 5 cheeses with 5 ciders.  Other snacks will be offered. Good food and good discussion for this 90 minute event, well worth the $45 price tag. As are all of our events, there is very limited seating; buy your tickets in advance at the cheese shop.

OTHER

We have sat down with the folks at the local wine store, Flowercup, and tasted cheese and wine and paired together the perfect companions. I know, isn’t it awful? We are going to pick a few ideal cheeses and their complementary wines every month and feature them in both stores as “Pairing Companions”.

September Companions –

WINE– Weinhof Scheu, Riesling Trocken Schweigener 

CHEESE– Red Dragon (more fun than a German Wienerschnitzel and perfect for Octoberfest)

WINE– Lini, Labrusca Rosso Lambrusco 

CHEESE– Parmigiano Reggiano (a match made in Emilia Romagnia)

CHEESE OF THE MONTH CLUB:

In September we will be launching the Cheese of the Month Club. For $40 a month you will have a half pound of 3 of our most unique cheeses (selected by the owners of Cold Spring Cheese Shop) hand-delivered to your front door. This is for Philipstown residents only.  You can purchase your membership inside the shop for the first month and then will be automatically billed the ensuing months. You can cancel at anytime of course, or put your membership on hold.
